Our Story

The first personalised box we created was back in 2014. It was for La Pernella Pizzeria in south west London. Straight away we could see the huge marketing potential; transforming a piece of throw-away packaging into something that could be used to promote a business or a brand.

We launched The Pizza Box Shop in 2019 under the umbrella of our parent company Prestige Food & Wine. This made sense because many of Prestige's customers are pizzerias and Italian restaurants, so we had a lot of contacts we could approach and promote the idea to.

When Covid happened the demand for takeaway foods - and in particular pizza, went through the roof. Competition became fierce, and pizzeria and restaurant owners started to realise the need to make their pizza stand out. This was when things really started to mushroom.

Having your own personalised pizza box is essential in today's market. An eye-catching design grabs people's attention, and the graphics on the box can be used to drive people to your website or social media platforms, as well as displaying your location and other contact details.

Now we are moving back to normality, and people are back on the high streets, so the value of a personalised box increases even more.
